Common Questions
Who prepares my return?
Tim Potter, CPA, owner of 4th Corner Accounting and licensed in Washington State. Tim is an independent CPA working with Launch, under his own license and insurance. Launch is not a CPA firm.
Why is the price a starting price?
Prices assume your books are accurate and up to date. Tim talks with you first, then confirms a scoped, flat price before any work starts.
When do I pay?
Return preparation is a flat fee, due when the return is complete and before we file it.
What isn't included?
Audits, reviews and other attest work need a licensed CPA firm, so they are outside what Launch offers. Excise and sales tax filings are handled separately by our bookkeeping team.
Can you talk to the IRS for me?
Yes. Once you sign IRS Form 2848, Tim can speak with the IRS on your behalf. This is billed hourly on the Dynamic Hourly Plan.
