Social Media Management Isn't Worth It Without an Ad Budget

The market is crowded, real content costs real time and money, and without ad spend behind it, organic posts rarely move the numbers that matter.

We get asked about this often enough that it is worth saying plainly: Launch Industries is not accepting social media management work for new clients at this time.

A few reasons.

The market is already full of people who do it well

Social media management is one of the most commoditized services out there. There are agencies, freelancers, and platforms built entirely around this work, with pricing models and specialists who live in it every day. Adding a watered-down version of that service on our end would not be better for clients. It would just be redundant.

Content creation done well is not cheap or fast

Good social media output takes real time and real money: someone shooting and editing video, writing and testing copy, designing graphics, watching analytics, and adjusting week over week. That is a full job, not a task you bolt onto someone's plate for an hour a week. Clients who go in expecting a light lift are usually disappointed, and we would rather be honest about that than let the expectation stand.

Return on investment matters more than most people admit

Social media only pays off at scale, and scale costs money. Without a real ad budget behind it, organic posting mostly produces activity, not results. Impressions without spend behind them are close to a vanity metric. We have watched organizations sink staff time and management fees into feeds that never moved the numbers that actually mattered, because nobody sat down and asked whether the audience, the budget, and the platform lined up before starting.

What we will still do

If you need business pages created and configured correctly on the platforms that make sense for you, that is within our scope, and we are happy to help.

Become a referral partner

If you run a social media management or content agency, a CPA firm, a small business law practice, or a software company that serves small businesses, and you want a referral relationship with Launch, we would like to hear from you. We work with organizations that need this kind of support regularly, and we would rather hand them off to someone who does it full time than not help at all.

Tell us about your business and become a referral partner.

A couple of partners we already recommend

While we build out the referral network, here are two people we already send business to and trust:
