Mental Health Counseling Through Doctegrity
Counseling is included in every Doctegrity membership, for the member and everyone in their household. It is short-term therapy: enough to work through a stretch of anxiety, grief, work stress or a relationship problem with one professional who knows your story.
How sessions work
Each issue gets four sessions with the same licensed professional: a 30-minute intake, then three one-hour sessions. When those are done, the issue closes and you can open a new one; there is no limit on the number of issues. Unlike an on-demand doctor call, therapy sessions are always scheduled in advance, by secure video. Crisis texting is available too. Sessions are offered in English and Spanish.
What people use it for
Anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationships, work conflict, parenting, sleep. It is the kind of help most people put off because of cost or waitlists, and here it costs nothing per session.
More than an EAP
Alongside counseling, members get life coaching, nutrition counseling, financial consultations, legal consultations, medical advocacy and a smoking cessation program. Request any of them by emailing Doctegrity member services with the benefit you want, your name, phone, email and availability.
Confidential
Launch is never told who uses counseling or why. If you want longer-term therapy, you can continue with the same professional outside Doctegrity by arrangement with them.
Common questions
Can Doctegrity prescribe antidepressants or anxiety medication?
No. Doctegrity doctors do not prescribe mental health medications or controlled substances. Counseling is talk therapy.
Can my teenager use it?
Household members can use counseling. The primary member registers dependents under 18 and schedules for them; dependents 18 and over get their own login.
How soon can I get a first session?
Sessions are scheduled, not on demand, and first availability is typically within days rather than weeks.
