Who it is for
A Health Benefit for Teams That Cannot Offer Insurance Yet
Group health insurance for a five-person team can run several hundred dollars per person every month. Doctegrity telehealth is $20. It is not a replacement for insurance, and we will say so plainly, but it is the benefit most small teams can actually start with.
What it covers, and what it does not
Doctegrity handles the everyday medical problems: flu, cough, sinus infections, rashes, pink eye, UTIs, earaches, refills, and talking to a counselor. It does not cover emergency rooms, urgent care visits, surgery, hospital stays or specialists. For those, members still need insurance or pay out of pocket. Doctegrity never reports to an insurer and works alongside any plan or none.
Why it changes things for a small team
Most sick days and most of the dread around getting sick come from the small stuff: the cost of a visit, the wait for an appointment, the time off to get there. A doctor who calls back in two hours and sends the prescription to the pharmacy fixes that, for the member and for everyone in their house.
The math
Standard is $20 per enrolled member per month, household included. The highest level, with the full prescription formulary for the whole family, is $45 per member. There are no copays, no per-visit fees and no deductible. Use the calculator on the telehealth page to price your team.
When you are ready for insurance
Keep Doctegrity. Teams with insurance keep it as the fast lane for everyday care, and it lets you cover people the group plan will not, like part-timers and contractors. Launch's HR and payroll team can help you add a group plan or an ICHRA when the time comes.
Common questions
Is this ACA compliant coverage?
No. Doctegrity is a telehealth membership, not health insurance, and it does not satisfy any insurance mandate. It is a benefit, not coverage.
Can the employer pay some and the employee pay some?
Yes. Many employers cover the $20 Standard membership and let members add prescription plans or eVets through payroll deduction.
Is there a minimum team size?
No. One person can be a group, and individuals can also sign up on their own without an employer.
